Hello, My name is Brian P Cook,  Before you get started please listen to an interview I did for Travis Fitzwater on 2/5/2010

A little bit about me before we start working together. I’m a small town kid from Deer Lodge, Montana who was involved in basketball, football and golf. At a very young age I learned the importance of stepping up to be a leader and helping others play and work at their highest potential. I finished high school in Montana and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1988. I went to Military Police school and graduated in the top 5% of my class. I was accepted in the K-9 corps which is an elite group in the Marine Corps. I learned valuable leadership traits in the Marine Corps and it was there that I understood how important team work is to accomplish the mission. I promoted up in the Marine Corps in record time and all of it was earned meritoriously. I became a trainer for the K9 training division and led twelve K9 teams to be one of the top K9 groups in the entire Marine Corps. I completed my four years of service and the winds of the world blew me over to Memphis, TN. where I became a Memphis Police Officer!

In the beginning, I really loved being a police officer. I thought it was my calling and the best way for me to help people. The Memphis Police Department thought the same because they awarded me several citations for my accomplishments and in 1996 I was named Officer of the Year . I began to figure out that I wasn’t helping the people that really wanted help. They just wanted a police officer to solve their problems. I had always known that I had a higher calling to help people and in 2000 I was involved in tragic shooting where a civilian, police officer and two firemen were killed. I narrowly escaped death myself and this event prompted me to take my calling much more seriously. But I wasn’t sure how to act on this prompting until 5 years later when I met my dream girl Michelle Jones who introduced me to Multi-Level Marketing. I’ve now been in this amazing industry for over 4 years now. I joined SendOutCards in July of 2009 and have quickly moved to the Senior Manager level. I’ve taken all the leadership and communication skills, training, knowledge that I learned in the Marine Corps and Police Department and brought it over into SendOutCards. I have finally found my calling! Everyday I have the pleasure of working with people who have goals, are willing to do the work to achieve their goals and together we develop a game plan to achieve those goals. I completely fell in love with Send Out Cards the first time I looked at it. I mean this is exactly the tool I was looking for to tell people that I really care about them.
